Privacy and research integrity
This page explains what information the Customer Success Benchmark 2026 collects from participants, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Your name, work email, job title, company, and area of responsibility.
- Optional details such as company website, employee count, and LinkedIn URL.
- The notes or recording from your research conversation, where recording is permitted.
Why we collect it and how it is used
- To arrange and conduct your research conversation.
- To identify recurring themes and operating patterns across participating companies.
- To produce an aggregated, largely anonymized benchmark report.
- To share findings and updates with participants.
Recording and attribution
Conversations are only recorded with your explicit permission. Your name, company, role, or quotes will only be attributed publicly if you grant permission. Insights are anonymized by default.
Confidential information
Please do not share confidential or commercially sensitive information during your conversation. The research does not require it, and we ask participants to avoid disclosing anything they are not comfortable being discussed as part of aggregated findings.
Correction and deletion
You may request correction or deletion of your information, or withdraw from the research, at any time. To make a privacy request, contact hello@customersuccessbenchmark.com.
Research principles
Evidence over assumptions
Conclusions are grounded in what participants actually describe, not in preconceived narratives.
Attribution by permission
Names, companies, roles, and quotes are only attributed with explicit consent.
Confidentiality by default
Insights are anonymized unless permission to attribute is granted.
Practical usefulness
The research aims to be genuinely useful to Customer Success teams.
Clear separation of findings
Individual observations, recurring themes, and representative findings are clearly distinguished.
